Salt Lake City, Utah-based TechnaGlass has announced the acquisition of Harmon AutoGlass in Minnesota for an undisclosed amount. The company will initially operate six stores in the greater Minneapolis area under the Harmon AutoGlass Brand and only includes those locations, not the HSG billing network.
“We are thrilled to have acquired such a respected business as Harmon AutoGlass,” said Troy Mason, founder and CEO of TechnaGlass. “We consider this acquisition to be a continuation of our commitment to becoming a national leader in quality and convenience within the industry…”
Harmon AutoGlass has been in the industry for nearly 70 years, getting its start in 1949 as a single auto glass replacement shop in Minneapolis. The company was purchased by The Dwyer Group in January 2004 and became a part of its nationwide franchise organization.
“Harmon AutoGlass has established itself as an industry leader in auto glass replacement,” said Mason. “With the backing of TechnaGlass and our infrastructure, we are striving to make Harmon Auto Glass an industry leader not only in windshield replacement, but repair, warranties and customer support.”
