Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana owners have a new recall to keep an eye out for. General Motors LLC released the recalls on 2014 to 2017 models today, and more than two hundred thousand owners will be effected.
Owners may notice liquids leaking into the power window switch on the driver’s side. Over time liquid build up will effect driver visibility and start to corrode. Corrosion build up will result in high electrical resistance, making it harder for the driver to operate and control their vehicle.
General Motors will notify applicable owners of their recall, and dealers will replace the driver side window switch free of charge. There is no set notification schedule in place yet. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782.
