National Windscreens Collaborates with Fix Auto UK

National Windscreens recently teamed up with Fix Auto UK. One key benefit from the collaboration is that National Windscreens is now able to give its repairers immediate advance driver-assistance systems (ADAS) calibration system access.

The ADAS access follows National Windscreens investment of more than $2 million in the latest equipment and training. “… We are committed to providing windscreen replacement and calibration in one visit to any of our 108 locations around the UK,” Peter Marsden, National Windscreens managing director said in a press release.

“Our new partnership with National Windscreens ensures every repair center in our network will be accommodated by National Windscreens’ expertise using the latest calibration systems needed to complete the repair process. Our franchisees will be able to return vehicles back in their customers’ hands as quickly as possible,” Ian Pugh of Fix Auto UK, said in a press release.

Before the two companies joined together, there were instances where Fix Auto UK’s repairs were slowed down due to ADAS technology. “Prior to this new partnership, our franchisees without the necessary technology have little choice but to turn to their local main dealer to recalibrate vehicles and this can add weeks to the process. The cost implications, particularly for our insurer clients, can easily mount up. In partnering with National Windscreens’ network, we will avoid this scenario,” Pugh said.
