Eastman Chemical Company announced the completion of its expansion of production capabilities at its Saflex® polyvinyl butyral (PVB) facility in Suzhou, China. According to the company the expansion allows Eastman to continue serving its global customers’ needs in the region with shorter lead times. The expansion is focused on enhancing production capabilities and capacity for Eastman advanced acoustic interlayer products for its use in laminated glass for automotive and architectural applications.
