Possible Visibility Issues for Certain Motorcycle Models

Ducati owners may be stopping by your shop for the latest recall with its mirrors. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), vibrations may distort images in its mirrors. The models to look out for are the 2017-2019 Ducati Supersport.

This issue can reduce the visibility of the driver and increase the chances of an accident, according to the NHTSA. Ducati will notify owners who own the applicable models that they can get new mirrors from shops at no cost, just over 1,600 models are affected by this recall. If owners have any further questions, shop owners and staff can direct them to either Ducati customer service at 1-888-391-5446, or the NHTSA vehicle safety hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
