National Windscreens is heading to BIBA 2019 this week to showcase its broker program and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration services. On May 15th and 16th 2019, Manchester will become the hub of the UK’s insurance broker sector.
The theme of this year’s event is ‘leading the way’. National Windscreens has invested more than £3 million in ADAS calibration technology and training. With over 75% of vehicle manufacturers requiring ADAS calibration in workshop conditions, it is clear it’s only possible to deliver a one-stop replacement and calibration service with a national network of purpose-designed workshops, according to the company.
“We are working closely with fleets and insurers to educate at all levels. Major insurers have attended calibration demonstrations at our workshops around the country and we have sent ADAS technicians to insurers’ premises to provide training. This conference and exhibition is just one part of a wider project at National Windscreens, aiming to ensure insurers, brokers and motorists are fully educated on this subject,” said Lisa Pugh, business development director at National Windscreens.
