Belron and AGC Sign Auto Glass Repair and Replacement Franchise Agreement

The Belron group and AGC Automotive Europe (AGC) signed a franchise agreement covering the AGC vehicle glass repair and replacement (VGRR) operations in Poland and Czech Republic.

AGC currently operates 37 VGRR locations in Poland under the NordGlass brand and 19 in the Czech Republic under the AG Experts brand. Under this agreement both networks will operate under Belron brands.

“This partnership will allow us to serve more customers with the excellent service standards that Belron is recognized for and provide our employees with the support and coaching that Belron can offer,” said Michel Spina, AGC general manager.

The franchise agreement became effective on June 1, 2019. It’s the first agreement made by Belron with a glass manufacturer to operate VGRR services, according to the company.

“The Polish and Czech markets have a combined vehicle park of over 20 million vehicles and are relatively mature. This agreement allows us to make a difference to motorists across these two markets,” said Nigel Doggett, Belron regional general manager.

As well as its VGRR networks, AGC has operations in the production and distribution of automotive replacement glass in Poland, the Czech Republic and throughout Europe. These operations are not impacted by the franchise agreement exclusively for the AGC VGRR operations in both countries.
