An accidental crash between a saguaro cactus and a windshield left a Tuscan driver with minor injuries—and some jail time. The prickly plant incident happened earlier this week in the Catalina Foothills, Ariz. area.

According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, someone called the police to report an accident involving a car going through a median Wednesday morning. Upon arriving to the scene police noticed a large cactus had pierced through the vehicle’s windshield.

“The driver, Kai Scott, appeared to be disoriented and had minor injuries from the cactus. Scott was arrested for “driving under the influence, and criminal damage, upon conclusion of the investigation,” the Pima County Sherriff’s Department said in a release. The incident garnered quite a bit of ironic attention on social media as well.
