Fix Network World announced the Trans North America Glass Network (TAG Network) has launched in Canada.
“With our acquisition of the TAG Network in June 2017, it has always been our intention to make this third-party administrator of auto glass claims available in Canada,” said Steve Leal, Fix Network World president and CEO.
TAG Network has been active in the United States for almost 20 years with a track record of successful claims processing for its customers, according to the company. The new launch provides an alternative to market needs since the closure of a Canadian call center, which the company states, was a “large player in claims management.” Following the announcement, Leal stated the goal of the Canadian launch is to increase the value proposition to the company’s insurance and fleet partners.
“With this launch, we provide a viable and proven alternative to the services void that has resulted,” said Leal.
The TAG Network is developing technological solutions that aim to accelerate real-time claims data sharing and systems integration between the network and its partners, according to the company.
“With the TAG Network, we continue to streamline processes for our valued insurance partners, franchise strategic partners and customers. This has been the cornerstone of our business model for all brands under our corporate banner,” said Leal.
Canadian Automotive Association (CAA) Insurance was the first insurer to commit with the TAG Network in British Columbia.
“We are focused on making insurance as simple as possible and to be reliable for each customer served. This new alliance will help us to deliver on that goal,” said Dana Soubra, CAA Insurance claims vice president.
