Caliber Collision Expands with Acquisition

Caliber Collision announced it has acquired Herb’s Paint & Body (HPB) across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

HPB was founded in January 1956 by Herb Walne. According to the company, it grew into an auto repair businesses famous for its customer service and commitment to the community.

“We are extremely excited to have the Herb’s Paint & Body organization join forces with Caliber Collision as we continue to drive toward becoming the collision repair provider of choice in every community we serve,” said Steve Grimshaw, Caliber Collision CEO.

“Our entire family is proud of the workmanship and reputation my father established beginning in 1956,” said Alan Walne, HPB chairman and CEO.

“We are proud to now operate 51 locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, allowing us to offer our customers greater convenience as we continue restoring them to the rhythm of their lives. This is a huge win for both organizations along with our customers, clients, and communities we serve,” added Grimshaw.
