The first finalist for the free truck giveaway at Auto Glass Week™ has been announced. Shawn Metcalfe of Mike’s Auto Glass in Ft. Myers, Fla., was selected randomly from pre-registered attendees and has earned a finalist key and the opportunity to open a treasure box that holds the key fob to the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 WT during Auto Glass Week™. If his key opens the treasure box, the truck is his. He earned two additional chances to be drawn as a finalist by pre-registering for the event. Eligible attendees* have six chances remaining to be named a finalist!
Here is how it works: Every three hours on the Auto Glass Week trade show floor during show hours an attendee name will be announced as a finalist. Names will be drawn approximately three hours apart Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, giving you six chances to be a finalist. You must be present to claim your finalist key. You can have a proxy represent you in the finals. Be sure to stick around to see if your name is called!
On Friday at 1:30 p.m., each finalist (or their representative) will gather to see if his or her key fits the treasure box that holds the key fob to the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 WT.
Auto Glass Week™ 2019 takes place September 4-6 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind. If you did not pre-register for the event, onsite registration will be open from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, September 4-5, and 6:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6. The finalists will gather at 1:30 p.m. to try their keys.
