Today LKQ Corporation announced that John S. Quinn, executive vice president and CEO of LKQ Europe, submitted his notice of retirement and Arnd Franz, LKQ Europe chief operating officer, will succeed Quinn effective October 1, 2019.

John has been an integral member of the senior management team here at LKQ for the past decade and our European operations have significantly expanded under his leadership. I am extremely grateful for his dedication and hard work on behalf of LKQ,” said Dominick Zarcone, LKQ president and CEO.
Franz joined the company in April of this year after spending most of his career at the MAHLE Group. While there, Franz was responsible for MAHLE’S global automotive sales and application engineering, including the aftermarket business unit.
Quinn joined LKQ in 2009 as its chief financial officer and became CEO of LKQ Europe in early 2015 to lead the Company’s operations overseas. Under his leadership, the revenue of LKQ’s European segment has more than tripled, as it acquired several distributors.
