Longtime Mygrant employee Tom Higginbottom died early Saturday morning in California. Higginbottom spent more than 37 years, almost his whole career, at Mygrant Glass in a variety of positions including sales and market manager and zone manager. He retired in March of this year after a long career.
Higginbottom was active in a number of trade associations and strong in his support of the Auto Glass Safety Council. He is a former president of the California Glass Association and the National Glass Association and was involved in a number of local organizations.

I worked for Tom for nearly 20 years and knew him for over 30. He was a kind, honest and hard working man. He will be missed by many people including me.
In my 40+ years in the glass business Tom was the best person I had the luck to know and work for. As stated above he was the most honest person I ever met. I will miss our phone calls and was glad I got to talk to him 2 weeks ago.
I knew Tom for nearly 10 years, for sure he was a great honest person, he will be missed , May he Rest In Peace
Tom was a friend and valuable ally. Through him i was introduced to my wife Carrie. I will remember him fondly. May God bless him and the Mygrant family
