Belron, parent company of Safelite Auto Glass, has recently announced Humphrey Singer will be its new chief finance officer. According to Belron, Singer will succeed Dave Meller, who decided to leave Belron after 17 years and will be working closely with Singer to ensure a smooth handover in April.
Singer was previously the chief finance officer of Marks & Spencer Group plc. Prior to this, he was group finance director at Dixons Carphone plc and previously held a number of senior finance roles with Cadbury Schweppes, and Coca-Cola Enterprises.
“Humphrey brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role and his achievements stand him in good stead for the challenges and opportunities ahead for Belron. He joins at a very exciting stage of the Belron journey and I am thrilled to be able to welcome him to our leadership team,” said Gary Lubner, Belron CEO.
