The National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA) recently issued a headlight recall for select BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) models. According to the administration, the vehicle’s headlights contain a non-conforming lens.

“The headlamps may allow a blue light to illuminate, a portion of NHTSA’s press release reads. “As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, ‘Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.’”

BMW stated it will notify all impacted owners of its recall.
