Fix Network World, an automotive aftermarket services network, has announced the appointment of Bertrand Lauzon to its board of directors.
Lauzon is the executive vice president and CFO for BFL Canada, a private commercial insurance broker. He is responsible for all financial, tax, merger and acquisition transactions as well as shareholder relations. He also is a member of BFL Canada’s national strategic management committee.
Before joining BFL Canada, Lauzon was first vice-president of finance, operations and systems and CFO for Desjardins Securities. Prior to that, he was first vice-president of finance, information and technology and CFO at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ).
Speaking about Lauzon’s appointment, Steve Leal, CEO and president of Fix Network, said, “We are pleased to welcome Bertrand to the Fix Network board of directors. Lauzon is an accredited professional accountant and certified financial analyst and has been in the financial sector for more than 36 years. He has completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program and holds an ICD.D.
