Service King Provides Support for Veterans Through Employment Initiatives

Service King Collision recently showed its continuous commitment to veterans by participating in the North Central Texas Red, White and You virtual career fair. The event was hosted by the Texas Workforce Commission and Texas Veterans Commission. During the event, Service King hosted a webinar for attendees to discuss its job openings.

“For many years, our company has been dedicated to supporting our nation’s heroes,” said Sean Huurman, chief human resources officer. “We know veterans make exceptional employees, so Service King is always exploring ways to recruit, train and retain them within our organization. We are very proud of the veterans we employ, and we look forward to a future with even more veterans on our team.”

The Hire Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program was recently introduced in the Seattle market. In partnership with Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington, Service King had two veterans participate as fellows in its associate general manager training track. In 2021, Service King plans to roll out this program in markets across the country.
