Tough Enough: Gorilla Glass Available in More Jeep Models

Jeep is expanding the availability of Gorilla Glass in models from the JK Wrangler to the Wrangler and the Gladiator.

Gorilla Glass, already used in smart phones, makes windshields more resistant to debris and breakage. The glass is ideal for the off-roading focus of Jeep models, according to the company.

Ford F-150 and Ford GT are also already using Gorilla Glass in windshields.

Gorilla Glass windshields are available with a two-year warranty, and range in price from $793 to $932.

Windshields for the JK Wrangler are available for $645.

While tougher, windshields made of Gorilla Glass are lighter in weight, which installers will appreciate.
