Remembering Diane Reister

Diane Reister, an auto glass repair and replacement industry veteran, passed away at 63 years old on Aug. 16, 2021. The staff at AGRR magazine and glassBYTEs sends its condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.

Reister graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Mich., in 1990. Her auto glass career spanned more than 30 years, with stops at NSG Pilkington, PGW Auto Glass and, most recently, Dinol U.S.

CEO of Dinol U.S. Joe Renzi sent out a letter regarding the territory sales manager’s tragic passing:

“To our valued customers, friends, and associates,

It is with great sorrow that I have to inform you of the recent passing of Diane Reister.

Diane was a big part of our Dinol family and a very close friend. I have known and worked with her for almost 30 years.

Diane was a true friend, loving and caring mother, recent grandmother, and one of the most hard working, passionate people I have ever met and have had the pleasure to work with.

She will be sorely missed by myself, our team, her family, friends and customers.

Please take a few moments and send a few prayers to Diane’s family as they work through this difficult time.”
