David Zoldowski, Longtime Industry Owner, Passes Away at 78

David Zoldowski, who owned Auto One Glass and Accessories with his children, passed away Saturday while sleeping. He was 78.

Zoldowski lived in Oceola Township, MI, and was a strong advocate for independent glass companies. He served in the leadership of the Independent Glass Association (IGA) for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Sharelle, children Rochelle Jones, Tracy Hamilton and Mitchell Zoldowski, five grandchildren, his brother, Gary, and sister, Carol Nash. Zoldowski was preceded in death by a son, Brian, and a brother, Larry.

Visiting hours will be Friday, Sept. 17, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Keehn-Griffin Funeral Home, 706 W. Main Street, Brighton, MI 48116. A funeral service will be held Sat., Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial at Fairview Cemetery in Brighton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Knights of Columbus, St. Augustine Council No. 13450, 6481 Faussett Road, Howell, MI 48845.

  2. Dave was a real gentleman! I remember him from our work on the ROLAGS standard many years ago. So sad. May the Lord give his family peace through sweet remembrance of all the good times.
