Pilkington’s focus on environmental sustainability aligned with Auto Windscreens’ strategy to minimize its carbon footprint. Together, the companies look to progress their ‘rapid automated part transfer process.’

“It’s fitting that in our 50th year, we’re continuing our established partnership with Pilkington, a well-known, historical brand,” says James MacBeth, Auto Windscreens’ managing director. “We’re proud to be working together, offering the highest quality products, staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements, and providing the excellent levels of service and standards our customers expect.”

The partnership is focused on addressing technological advancements.

“From the start, Auto Windscreens were looking for an agreement that would support their long-term development,” says Stuart Boon, NSG AGR European director. “The rapid growth in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and head-up display (HUD) windscreens therefore made an OE manufacturer with industry-leading technology an essential part of the supplier requirements. We are delighted that Pilkington has been chosen to meet these standards and to incorporate a countrywide service model into the arrangement.”
