Prizes at Auto Glass Week Heat Up for 2022

Repair and replacement technicians start sharpening your skills! Everything is bigger and hotter in Texas, and now the competition prize money for Auto Glass Week™ 2022 (AGW), Sept. 14-16 in San Antonio, is smokin’.

2021 Champion TJ Tirado shares his experience.

More than $6,000 in cash and rewards have been added for AGW 2022, making the total purse for all competitions larger than ever. Now in its 11th year, AGW will be the hottest event around for the OE and aftermarket automotive glass repair and replacement industry.

“We know how hard our competitors prepare for AGW, and it was time to raise the stakes and increase the prize values for some of our Silver and Bronze winners,” says Donna Stivers, competition coordinator. “We’re excited about the new rewards for the Customer Service Representative competition and look forward to seeing what the 2022 competitors bring to the table.”

Plus, two new competitions have been added on the lighter side—a Hot Sauce Eating contest and a Company Spirit one. Watch for more details on them in the future.

But for those that come to prove they are the best at their trade, the following are the competitions and prize purse for auto glass winners:
