Docteur du Pare-Brise, an automotive glass repair and replacement company in Quebec, is doing its part in the fight against cancer. The company raised $18,870 for the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation (QBCF) to support its My Active HealthTM program. The auto glass company’s locations across Quebec donated $10 to the foundation for each windshield repair and replacement completed from September 1 to October 31, 2021. Docteur du Pare-Brise is part of the Uniban family of glass brands.
“Having your windshield ready for the harsh winter months helps protect both you and your vehicle no matter the weather,” Maurice Filion, president of Uniban, says in a company statement about the donation. “We are deeply grateful to communities across Quebec who chose Docteur du Pare-Brise for their windshield work, as it supports our network of locally-owned businesses and goes back to a tremendous cause.”
My Active HealthTM was developed in 2017 by the foundation to help women motivate and maintain a physically active and healthy lifestyle. Free services are offered and adapted to each person’s individual situation with the expertise of physical activity professionals.
“The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation is grateful to count on the valuable support of Doctor du Pare-Brise, a longstanding partner for the cause,” Karine Iseult-Ippersiel, president and CEO of Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, says in the company statement. “Their generosity helps fund many innovative research projects, promotes breast health and supports those affected by breast cancer.”
