Auto Glass Repair Company Donates More Than $40,000 to Fight Hunger in Schools

From September 1 to October 31, 2021, UniglassPlus and VitroPlus locations, part of the Uniban glass family, donated $3 for every rust protection treatment to offer nutritious breakfast to children. This massive initiative, combined with others throughout the year, helped the brands raise a total of $43,372 in 2021 for their charity of choice, Breakfast Club of Canada, according to a company statement.

Breakfast Club of Canada reports that nearly 2 million children, or 1 in 3 Canadian children, are at risk to go to school hungry. “As we head into the winter months, protecting your vehicle from rust can help prolong the life of your car,” Maurice Filion, Uniban president, says in a company statement. “We were thrilled to see the number of customers that chose us for their rust protection needs, especially as every service went to this incredibly important cause.”
