NOVUS Remains on Franchise 500 list for 2021

NOVUS Glass has made the Franchise 500 list for 2021. At number 101, up from number 140 in 2020, the company has 2,013 franchises worldwide.

Founded in 1972, NOVUS was founded after Dr. Frank Werner replaced three windshields with small breaks. He teamed up with chemical engineer Bill Wiele to find a way to repair windshields, instead of replacing the glass. Werner partnered with Gerald Keinath in 1972 to patent his windshield repair system and create a business plan. Originally called Keinath Inc., the company was soon renamed NOVUS, which means new in Latin.

Franchise opportunities began in 1985. NOVUS, based in St. Paul, Minn., is looking for franchise owners worldwide, and in most U.S. states.

The company also ranked number 120 in 2020 for Top Franchises for Veterans, and number 21 in 2020 for Top Global Franchises.
