Shaun Atton is the newest member of the Auto Windscreens’ senior management team having been appointed business support director. Atton’s career at Auto Windscreens began in 2003 as a trainee base technician, according to a company statement. He has held several positions in the company, including operational and management roles. He most recently served as head of fleet and facilities.
In his new role, Atton will continue to look after the vehicle fleet, sites and facilities, which total 70 service centres in the United Kingdom. He will also work on health and safety, quality and environment, and have a strong focus on minimizing the company’s environmental impact. In 2017, Atton worked to support the company becoming the first carbon neutral automotive glazing company, and supported the company’s plans to adopt hybrid or fully electric vehicles.
“I’m looking forward to joining the senior management team and supporting their positive impact,” Atton says in the company statement. “This March, I’ll be proud to mark my 19th year with the business, and I hope with my experience at Auto Windscreens and in the industry, I can bring a new dynamic to the team.”
