Rick Parfitt Jr.’s second season in the British Touring Car Championship will be sponsored by Auto Windscreens.
The company’s logo will appear above the windscreen and wing mirrors of Parfitt’s Infiniti Q50 under Upton Steel with Team HARD Racing, a company statement says.
Auto Windscreens is a leading glazing company in the United Kingdom, and provides a network of auto service centres as well as mobile units for windscreen repair and replacement.
“I am extremely excited to be working with Auto Windscreens again,” Parfitt says in the company statement. “The response I had last year from bringing this iconic brand back into BTCC was absolutely amazing! James and all the Auto Windscreens staff are nothing short of phenomenal. And just like their slogan says … together we are ‘clearly going places.’”
James Macbeth, managing director of Auto Windscreens, says the company is “huge fans” of the racecar driver. “We’re absolutely delighted to be supporting him for the second year running. We can’t wait to see him and the car out on the track and wish him all the best for the new season!”
