Ice Flies off Truck, Shatters Windshield and Maine Law Offers No Help

Marsha Garland and her mother were heading to Walmart in Sanford, traveling north in her Toyota Corolla on Route 109, when shards of ice struck their windshield, turning it into a dense spider web of cracks. The impact created a hole in the upper passenger’s side of the windshield, shooting bits of glass throughout the interior of the car.
