The incident happened at about 7:05 p.m. Wednesday on the northbound 57 Freeway near Pathfinder Road, said Deputy Miguel Meza-Palomo, spokesman for the Sheriff’s Department. Two Metrolink deputies were driving when the padlock came from a vehicle traveling southbound on the 57.
