National Windscreens celebrated the opening of its new supercenter in Slough last week. The center is the first of its kind for the company in the United Kingdom with a focus on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), according to a company statement. “As well as the increase in size and number of fitting and calibration bays in the centre, National Windscreens has invested heavily in the latest ADAS calibration technology to allow technicians at the centre to calibrate a greater number of vehicles than before,” National Windscreen’s regional director for the South Terry Liddard says.
The supercenter’s launch day was scheduled around the opening ceremony of the Wakefield Working Zone, a tribute to David Wakefield, a young National Windscreens technician from Slough who died of cancer. “The launch day was an opportunity to bring our connections together to discuss the changes in ADAS technology and how National Windscreens is delivering innovations to continuously improve the experience for our customers,” says Mark Payne, managing director.
