Safelite Group, a vehicle glass services and recalibration company and owner of Safelite AutoGlass, announced an agreement to acquire the auto glass assets of Reliable Glass headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz. The transaction was completed on Friday, October 14, 2022 and marks Safelite’s sixth major acquisition in 2022 alone.

The combined businesses will offer vehicle glass repair, replacement and recalibration services to Arizona customers. Reliable Glass has five locations throughout Arizona.

Safelite AutoGlass of Columbus, Ohio, is the largest auto glass repair and replacement business in the U.S. In addition to the most recent acquisition, Safelite acquired Seattle’s Genuine Auto Glass and the auto glass assets of Binswanger’s Auto Glass Division in October 2022, Pro Tech Auto Glass, a retail chain serving western Pennsylvania, southern New York and eastern Ohio, at the end of August 2022, Henderson Glass in July 2022 and Frontier Glass in June 2022.
