Opinion: This Bill Will Drive Auto Insurance Costs Off a Cliff for Some NJ Motorists

Christine O’Brien, president of the Insurance Council of New Jersey, opines that the state legislature are “inexplicably pushing for legislation that will cause auto insurance coverage costs to rise yet again.” Senate Bill 357, she says, is likely to increase premiums for the majority of drivers by prohibiting insurers from considering factors statistically proven to generate the fairest, most accurate and competitive prices.
