String of Car Windows Smashed, Handicap Cards Taken in Takoma Park, Police Say

Takoma Park police are investigating a string of stolen handicap placement cards that were taken on March 31. Officers were called to the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue just before 10:30 a.m. for the report of several thefts from autos. After further investigation, police determined one or more suspects smashed multiple car windows and stole handicap placement placards from inside the cars.
