ABRA Acquires Four New Locations
December 31, 2012
Minnesota-based ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced Friday it has
completed purchases of three Collision Plus Auto Body Repair Centers
in Southern Illinois outside of St. Louis and Ogden Auto Body in
Utah.
"This is our 16th acquired center of the year and our first step
into Illinois and the St. Louis market," says Duane Rouse, president
and chief executive officer of ABRA. "We have also added seven new
franchises and developed four corporate centers this year for a
total of 27 new centers added to our system in 2012."
ABRA's new Midwest repair centers are located just outside St.
Louis in the Southern Illinois cities of Swansea, Glen Carbon and
O'Fallon. "Customer satisfaction has been our number one priority,"
says Nick Gojmeric, founder and owner of Collision Plus Auto Body
Repair Centers. "ABRA's commitment to its customers while valuing
a culture of ethics, integrity and teamwork makes it the perfect
company to acquire our business."
"For more than 70 years, our repair center has been a trusted part
of the community," says Tom Baur, owner of Ogden Auto Body. "We
know ABRA will continue the commitment we've made to superior service
over seven decades in business."
The new Ogden location will be ABRA's 5th repair center in Utah.
The deals boost ABRA's repair center total to 136 and expands its
national scale to 15 states.
ABRA has completed 27 total acquisitions in 2012.
Most recently the company announced its acquisition of its acquisition
of five Collision
Solutions locations in Indianapolis, Ind., December 14 as well
as the assets of the Stillwater, Minn., office of Schoonover
Bodyworks and Glass November 16.
A representative for ABRA was unavailable at press time for further
comment.
