Auto Glass Week™ Announces New Gold Sponsor: AGC Automotive Americas
June 4, 2013

Auto Glass Week™, the three-day international event featuring auto glass repair and replacement competitions, educational seminars and an exhibition/extravaganza, is proud to announce that AGC Automotive Americas, a full line manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket glass providing OE quality windshields and tempered parts throughout North America, is sponsoring the event at the Gold level.

"AGC Automotive's aftermarket division is headquartered in Gahanna, Ohio. Our ARG (automotive replacement glass) business started back in 1973 when we began importing replacement parts to our facility in California. We expanded in 1986 into manufacturing OE and aftermarket replacement glass here in the US," says Chris Bryant, director of ARG sales, AGC Automotive Americas.

As a Gold Sponsor of Auto Glass Week, AGC Automotive Americas will be featured on the show floor September 18-20 in booth 600. AGC Automotive Americas "will have an all-new booth this year that emphasizes why AGC is a global leader in the automotive industry and how we can leverage our strengths in various ways to benefit our ARG customers," explained Todd Danciak, director of corporate marketing for AGC Automotive Americas.

AGC Automotive Americas chose to sponsor Auto Glass Week 2013 to help benefit its brand exposure. "Since 1986 our company has been known for our high-quality products under the AP Tech brand. Through recent market research we found that not as much of the industry knew that AP Tech is now AGC as we hoped. Also, last year we had a booth and the overall feedback from the event was real positive. So this year we decided to step it up," says Vidal Cruz, ARG general manager.

Pre-register now to see AGC Automotive Americas and our full line-up of sponsors at Auto Glass Week.

Auto Glass Week draws more than 1,000 attendees and features top industry players on the show floor each year. The event will be held in Tampa, Fla., at the Tampa Convention Center and the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina, September 18-20.

When asked if AGC Automotive Americas had any advice for the 2013 repair and replacement competitors, Bryant wanted to wish "good luck to the 2013 repair and replacement competitors, have fun, and make sure you take the opportunity to spend some time at the AGC booth between your events!"
