AGRSS
to Auction Off Week at Secluded Cottage
The Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards (AGRSS) Council Inc. will
auction off a week at a secluded cottage in Bath, N.Y., at its annual
charity auction, which will be held on Wednesday, November 5, from 6 to
8 p.m. The AGRSS Auction is held as part of the International Auto Glass
Safety (AGRSS) Conference, which is held November 5-6 at the Mandalay
Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
The cottage is located approximately one hour and 45 minutes from Rochester,
N.Y., and is owned by Dave Burns of Ray Sands Glass. It is located on
a small, tranquil lake, where no motorized boats and opportunities for
fishing and hiking are available. The week at the cottage includes use
of Burn's canoe, as well.
The cabin also is located one hour from the Corning Glass Museum. While
the cabin is described by Burns as "rustic," it is equipped
with a full kitchen, phone and bathroom with shower. It sleeps six, and
all towels and linens will be supplied.
The AGRSS annual charity auction is open to all who attend any auto glass
event during Auto Glass Week in Las Vegas.
Auto Glass Week in Las Vegas includes several events, including the Auto
Glass Expo at NACE, the International Auto Glass Safety (AGRSS) Conference,
the IGA's Fall Marketing Conference, the National Windshield Repair Association's
(NWRA) Annual Conference, and the Third Annual Walt Gorman Memorial Windshield
Repair Olympics (WRO). Pre-registration for the AGRSS conference, IGA
conference and NWRA conference closes this Friday, October 17.
