Auto Glass Safety Council Announces Silent Charity Auction Items

The Auto Glass Safety Council™ (formerly the AGRSS® Council Inc.) will be holding the Silent Charity Auction at Auto Glass Week™ on Friday, September 21 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. The event helps to raise proceeds for the non-profit organization and will be held on the Exhibition/Extravaganza floor.
Some of the items up for auction include 3,360 vintage NAGS Patterns from Anderson Glass, a fishing trip with Carl Tompkins from Sika, an 18-lap stock car race from Equalizer, a Meritool Power Push Cordless Dispenser Kit from Meritool, an Amazon Kindle from Mygrant Glass, an Extractor Cut Out Tool from Extractor and watches for men and women.
The Auto Glass Safety Council is dedicated to the proper installation of windshields and offers a registration program for shops that includes random third-party validations.
Auto Glass Week will run September 20-22, in Louisville, Ky., at the Kentucky International Convention Center and the Louisville Marriott Downtown.
Auto Glass Week will bring together all of the major auto glass groups, including the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards Council (AGRSS), Independent Glass Association (IGA), National Glass Association (NGA), and the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA), along with AGRR™ magazine's Pilkington Clear Advantage Auto Glass Technician Olympics and Walt Gorman Memorial Windshield Repair Olympics. The International Window Film Tint-Off and Conference™ also will be held concurrently. The event is managed by AGRR magazine.
