Pittsburgh Glass Works Becomes a Silver Sponsor of Auto Glass Week™
August 8, 2012

Pittsburgh Glass Works (PGW) has signed on as a Silver Sponsor of Auto Glass Week™ 2012, set to be held this September in Louisville, Ky.

“PGW is proud to be a Silver Sponsor of the 2012 Auto Glass Week. This format provides an invaluable opportunity for our industry to come together to learn, and plan ways for us all to become more successful,” says Brian Bauer, vice president of sales for PGW ARG. “In addition, it provides a great venue to reward those in our industry who are the daily face to the consumers and provide a safe quality installation to all our customers.”

“PGW continues to make significant investments to our industry. In 2011 we reopened our Evart, Mich., plant. In early 2012 PGW opened a completely new facility in Poland, and work continues on a new facility in Elkin, N.C., for a mid-2013 grand opening. We greatly appreciate all the customers that have made this re-investment possible and we look forward to seeing you all at the show,” continues Bauer.

“Returning once again to Sponsor Auto Glass Week shows a great commitment and dedication to the growth and future of the auto glass industry,” adds Ally Curran, event coordinator for Auto Glass Week. “We are excited to have PGW joining us once again as part of our sponsorship line-up for Auto Glass Week 2012.”

Auto Glass Week will be held September 20-22, 2012 in Louisville, Ky., at the Kentucky International Convention Center and the Louisville Marriott Downtown. The Exhibition/Extravaganza will be held September 21-22 and includes the repair and replacement competitions.

Pittsburgh Glass Works manufactures and distributes automotive glass to both the OEMs and aftermarket customers around the world, including its water repellant line, Aquapel, and other advanced sundries. LYNX Services and GTS POS software are also part of the PGW Group.
