Another Insurer Adds Auto Glass Claims App

Electric Insurance has launched a new mobile application for both
iPhone® and iPad® designed to allow policyholders to submit
claims and schedule auto glass work, according to information from
Beverly, Mass.-based insurer.
Company officials say the app, called Always On® , offers easy-to-use
capabilities that include a simple way to submit an auto claim,
check coverage status, exchange insurance information, call for
roadside assistance services, schedule auto glass repair, and more.
"Delivering mobile solutions to our policyholders and partners
is a key business strategy," says CIO Tom Stumpek. "Providing
online anytime tools that let users take immediate action when needed
is a powerful service advantage."
Company officials had not yet responded to requests for further
information on the auto glass portion of the app at press time.
