Auto
Temp Purchased Recalled Glass from N.J. Importer, Company Reports;

US with the glass recalled recently, says Auto Temp originally purchased
the suspect glass from Wholesale Glass Automotive Glass (WGA) in
Patterson, N.J. (CLICK

However, Alvin S.H. Shi, I/E representative and senior engineer
for Hangzhou Safety Glazing Ltd., says Hangzhou has does not supply
WGA, but confirms that it does hold DOT 430, the DOT reported in
the recall. Shi says Hangzhou has not been made aware of the recall.
"We have not suppl[ied] any glass to Auto Temp Inc. and our company
[uses] tempered glass machinery from Glasstech Inc., so our company
manufacture[s] tempered glass quality very good [sic]," Shi says.
"We have never [had a glass] recall glass in [the] market, and we
hold the DOT 430, and we have not suppl[ied] WGA."
Attempts to gain comment from WGA have been unsuccessful thus far.
