Bachman Auto Glass Robbed
Bachman Auto Glass in Phoenix was robbed on Sunday, August 5, at around 5 p.m., according to owner Larry Diesbach. Diesbach says a large amount of glass was stolen, but it's unknown how much was taken at this time. The company's surveillance cameras obtained footage of a person in a blue t-shirt and khaki pants entering the lot with a key and removing three of the company's cameras, in addition to the glass. The facility is located at 2214 N. 24th Street.
"We are asking any glass shop in the Phoenix area, of which there are hundreds, to be responsible and report any driver or person and/or persons selling glass that 'fell off a truck' or is from an unknown source," Diesbach says.
Diesbach says he has reported the incident to the police, but they have no leads at this time. He also notes that he believes this is not the first incident.
"We think it has [been robbed before], but never had visual evidence before," he says.
Diesbach adds that the company has taken extra precautions to ensure this doesn't occur again.
"We also want to let everyone know that we have taken extra security precautions, and we will be on the [lookout] and we will prosecute," he says.
