
Beranek to Offer Industry Expertise at Upcoming
Glass Expo Midwest

Industry
expert Bob Beranek will offer several informative seminars at the
upcoming Glass Expo Midwest March 16-17 in Schaumburg, Ill.
Beranek, who has been in the industry for more than 28 years and
has 18 years technical training experience, will offer detailed
auto glass installation demonstrations on each day of the event.
Beranek will discuss details about full versus partial cut-out methodologies,
the importance of pre-inspection of the vehicle, proper safety precautions
as well as moulding and windshield removal procedures used in the
preparation of a vehicle.
In addition, Beranek will offer a training course for the Independent
Glass Associations AGRSS-Reigstered Auto Glass Technician
Certification on March 16. Qualified technicians will be able to
take a written version of IGAs final certification exam immediately
following the technical session.
Beranek has devoted much time and his technical expertise to the
work of the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards (AGRSS) Council
and serves on its Board of Directors.
Beraneks industry know-how has been called on for several
auto glass-related cases as well, including the recent ruling against
Xinyi charging the China-based manufacturer with patent infringement

In 1992, Beranek developed his own auto glass consulting company,
Automotive Glass Consultants, to provide technical, sales and/or
customer service training to auto glass businesses.
