Breaking News: Glasspro's Browning Takes Gold in AGTO
November 7, 2009

Jamie Browning of Glasspro in Daniel Island, S.C., took the gold medal in the Pilkington Classic Auto Glass Technician Olympics (AGTO) today in Las Vegas with a nearly perfect score of 249. This was his third time competing.

"I think it will sink in tomorrow," said Browning in accepting the award.

He was followed by Greg Hamilton, also of Glasspro in Charleston, S.C., in second place.

Glasspro vice president Jo Ann Nemeth was on-hand to cheer both Browning and Hamilton on.

"We're extremely honored," she said. "We've got some excellent technicians throughout our company. We take the AGRSS Standard and training very seriously and our techs do, too, and it shows."

Third place went to Travis Crebs of TechnaGlass, and fourth to Josh Call, also of TechnaGlass.

The judges also awarded two innovation awards this year, one to Mike Rose and one to Browning.
