Lewisville, Texas-based Caliber Collision Centers has announced
its acquisition of three Denver-area Hank's Auto Body shops. Hank's
offers a variety of automotive repair services including auto glass
installation and repair, according to its website.
"Caliber's acquisition of Hank's Auto Body locations in the Denver
market represents Caliber's continued commitment to expand into
the southwestern U.S.," says Steve Grimshaw, Caliber's CEO. "After
getting to know Vince Vecchiarelli and his team in Colorado, it
became very apparent that their culture is a perfect fit with Caliber's
customer service focus centered on our employees."
"We are proud that Hank's Auto Body is now a part of the nation's
leading collision repair provider," says Vince Vecchiarelli, owner
of Hank's Auto Body. "This partnership will allow the company to
continue expanding across the Denver market, while providing Hank's
customers with the same high standards of quality repair and personal
service they've come to expect. Even more important, our partnership
with Caliber provides Hank's staff and their families' new advancement
opportunities and a bright future in the collision repair industry."
"Our acquisition of the three Hank's Auto Body locations in Denver
increases the total number of Caliber locations across the southwest
to 129 as we continue to execute on our mission of becoming the
collision repair provider of choice in every community we serve,"
adds Mark Sanders, chief operating officer for Caliber.
Gary Clark, senior vice president of marketing for Caliber, also
confirmed exclusively for glassBYTEs.com/AGRR
magazine that the sale was a purchase of the company's assets, adding
that the new locations will operate under the Caliber name but will
keep the existing staff.
