Chinese Auto Glass Industry is Growing at Rate of 20 Percent Per Year, According to Recent Report

The Chinese auto glass industry is increasing at an average growth rate of 20 percent annually, according to a new report. Likewise, in 2009, the scale of the Chinese auto glass market exceeded 70 million square meters.

However, though Chinese auto glass production is up, the report says that the global auto market slowed down, in light of a 4.2 percent decrease for the global auto industry.

The report says that Fuyao Group is China's largest auto glass manufacturer currently, and that Fuyao holds 10 percent of the global auto glass market share, 60 percent of the Chinese market.

The report was recently released by Research and Markets, a firm that looks at a variety of industries.
