Last Chance: Competitor Registration for AGTO and WRO Closes at 5 p.m. EST Today

Registration for the Fifth Annual Pilkington Classic Auto Glass Technician Olympics (AGTO) and the Fourth Annual Walt Gorman Memorial Windshield Repair Olympics (WRO) ends today at 5 p.m. EST.

Both competitions take the best technicians from local and international competitions and give them a chance to showcase their skills to each other as well as industry leaders. In addition to entry in the competition, competitors receive a variety of networking opportunities with fellow technicians and manufacturers, admission to the cocktail party on Friday, November 6, and admission to the NACE Trade Show.

The AGTO champion receives a cash prize and the title of "Best Auto Glass Technician in the World." In addition, the winner and the company he/she represents will receive extensive media coverage; use of the Pilkington Classic AGTO winner logo on stationery, business cards and advertising for one year and a full-page ad and coverage in AGRR magazine.

The WRO champion also receives a cash prize and the title of "The Best Windshield Repair Technician in the World." The winner and the company he/she represents will receive extensive media coverage; use of the WRO winner logo on stationery, business cards and advertising for one year; use of the 2009 Walt Gorman WRO logo for an unlimited time and a full-page ad and coverage in AGRR magazine.
