DNS Auto Glass Shop Shares PGW Distribution
Address in Minnesota and Kentucky, According to State Records
May 12, 2011
DNS Auto Glass Shop, which reportedly has
ties to Coast to Coast Auto Glass, shares its address with Pittsburgh
Glass Works (PGW) distribution facilities in at least two states,
according to state records filed in Minnesota and Kentucky.
In Minnesota, DNS lists its registered office at 316 W. 86th Street,
Bloomington, Minn., 55420, and PGW's website lists a PGW Auto Glass
location at the same address. The Minnesota paperwork is dated February
14, 2011.
In Kentucky, DNS lists the street address of its registered office
at 3326 Gilmore Industrial Blvd., Louisville, Ky., 40213, in its
official state record-which also matches PGW's Louisville distribution
facility. The Kentucky DNS paperwork is dated January 19, 2011.
glassBYTEs.com/AGRR magazine has received unconfirmed
reports from readers that in some cases DNS associates are based
in PGW facilities.
DNS Auto Glass Shop also operates in South Carolina, and has listed
Jeff Searles-whom the DNS website lists as founder of the company-as
its registered agent at 40 Airport Road, Greenville, S.C., 29607.
PGW's Greenville facility is located at 410 Airport Road in the
same town, less than half a mile away, according to the PGW website.
The South Carolina paperwork includes a date of February 21, 2011.
In DNS's Florida filing, the company lists its principle place
of business at 2120 East Raymond, Ste. 30, Phoenix, Fla.; while
this appears to be the company's Arizona address with a change of
state, a representative in the state's records office advised that
this likely was a simple typo, and that only the company's registered
agent must have a Florida address. The company has listed CT Corporation
System in Plantation, Fla., in its Florida paperwork, filed March
16, 2011.
PGW spokesperson Robert McCullough advised glassBYTEs.com/AGRR
magazine late Tuesday that he would look into the address similarities,
but has not responded to follow-up requests for comment.
At press time, DNS Auto Glass spokesperson Rhonda Jacobson, who
also represents both Coast to Coast Auto Glass and the Auto Glass
Shop as spokesperson, had not responded to requests for comment.
