Latest DOT Number for Auto Glass Awarded to China-Based Manufacturer

The Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded DOT No. 971 to Henan Carpud Safety Glass Co. Ltd. (HCSG), which is based in Zhengzhou, Henan, China.

HCSG was founded in 1995, according to information from the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), and makes a range of products, including glass for buses, tempered glass, laminated glass, and insulating glass.

The company supplies glass for several bus manufacturers, including Shaolin, Yutong Group, Quick Bus Industry Group, Neoplan Bus, Hengtong Bus, and Long King Heavy Industry, according to the GACC website.
