 
Four New DOT Numbers Awarded; Three Went to
Chinese Companies

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) recently has awarded
four new DOT numbers to auto glass-related product manufacturers,
three of which are based in China.
DOT No. 996 was awarded to Transparent Armor Solutions Inc. of
Santa Ana, Calif., which, according to its website is a "disadvantaged,
woman-owned small business specializing in the manufacture of bullet-resistant
glass products." Its services are geared toward military vehicles,
ships and rotorcrafts.
Of the Chinese companies receiving DOT numbers, TG Yueda Autoglass
Co. Ltd. of Yancheng, Jiangsu, China was awarded DOT No. 997.
DOT No. 998 went to Xiangyang Luashen Automobile Glass Co. Ltd.
in Xiangyany, China.
Qinhuangdao Taewa Strong Glass Ltd. of Qinhuangdao, Hebei, China
received DOT No. 999.
