 
Four New DOT Numbers Awarded; One to Bolivian

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) recently has awarded
four new DOT numbers to auto glass-related product manufacturers,
two of which are based in China, one the U.S. and another in Bolivia.
DOT No. 1000 was awarded to Heshan Zhengda Auto Glass Ltd., of
Heshan, Guangdong, China. According to the company's website it
manufactures auto glass for foreign and domestic models, specializing
in windshields.
The second Chinese company to receive a DOT number was Nanjing
Yuhai Automobile Glass and Equipment Mfr., in Nanjing Jiangsu, China,
which was awarded DOT No. 1001. The company, which was founded in
2008, manufactures both tempered and laminated glass on a number
of front and rear windshield manufacturing lines, according to its
website.
DOT No. 1002 went to La Paz, Boliva-based Favilam Bolivia Srl.
Elkhart, Ind.-based Jet Technologies Inc. received DOT No. 1003.
Jet is an engineering-based company that works with a variety of
industries and materials, including recreational vehicles, according
to its website.
